QUALITY TECHNICIAN
The Quality Technician position plays an important part in the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing and quality processes at Colorado Time Systems.
Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Incoming material inspection: The Quality Technician will inspect incoming materials in loading or unloading of materials to their appropriate locations.
Material non-conformance handling/processing: The Quality Technician will be responsible for the process of handling any non-conforming material.
This includes, but is not limited to, material handling, tagging of discrepant material, logging the quality issues in the Quality database, obtaining
and processing RMA documentation to return discrepant material to the appropriate vendor, as well as tracking of these materials and transactions.
Root-cause analysis: The Quality Techncian will help with the root-cause analysis testing and reporting, when necessary
Corrective-action reporting: The Quality Technician will help with the corrective-action process and reporting, when necessary
Continuous improvement activities: The Quality Technician will actively examine all of the processes that are involved with improvement
of the methods and procedures to eliminate waste and improve overall quality of the products manufactured by Colorado Time Systems.
Interface with Engineering & Production departments: The Quality Technician will work with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Inventory
personnel; in order to aid in the process of improving quality throughout the system.
Quality reporting: The Quality Technician will work with the Quality Manager to report on the day-to-day quality issues and resolutions discovered.
Maintaining gauges & testers: The Quality Technician is responsible for keeping all gauges and test machines used for monitoring quality
calibrated and properly maintained. This could involve using test standards and masters to check readings and adjusting tools properly.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's degree, or equivalent experience in a technical position, PLUS the ability to perform the following:
Safely lift up to 50# pounds consistently and without accommodation
Safely use material-handling equipment, including forklift, dollies, and pallet jacks
Correctly distinguish colors
Correctly read & correctly interpret blueprints
Correctly read calibration tools and gauges to test for tolerances
Stand, sit, lean, kneel and/or twist for up to 8 hours/day
SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Colorado Time Systems is looking for a career-minded software engineer with a broad experience base:
Design and develop software and firmware solutions for new products
Consult with Sales and Marketing personnel to develop project requirements
Research and select appropriate technologies on a per-project basis
Assist in both in-house and end-user documentation
Assist with in-house and field testing
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
Experience programming in C# and the Microsoft .NET Framework, specifically back-end applications
Strong problem-solving skills
Eagerness to quickly learn new technology
Knowledge of sports, specifically Aquatics (desirable)
A permanent U.S. work permit
TRAVELING INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN
Colorado Time Systems is looking for a traveling installation and field service technician to join its technical support team based in Loveland, CO.
This is a salaried position (plus per-diem for days on-the-road), and requires significant travel. Tech will install and service a wide range of sports timing equipment and scoreboards/LED displays, as well as perform on-site repairs, preventive maintenance work & operator training at customer sites.
This position will provide phone-based technical support, repairs and parts sales from the Loveland office (when in-house), and may be required to perform scheduled after-hours phone support (on a rotating basis). Travel will be overnight, in most cases, and may require some weekends. Per-diem is provided for travel days, in addition to salary. Benefits eligibility: 1st of the month following 90 days of employment.
Minimum Requirements:
Literacy (written and spoken) of English; "contractor" Spanish a plus, but not required
2-year electronics/technical degree plus 2+ years electronic repair/installation experience
Must be able to lift 75+ lbs without accomodation
Must be able to safely operate two-person scissors lift and use associated safety equipment
Must be able to stand, twist, work in confined spaces, kneel, and bend without assistance
Must have a valid driver's license, clean MVR with ability to rent vehicles for business use

BI-LINGUAL TRAVELING INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN (ENGLISH & "CONTRACTOR" SPANISH)
Colorado Time Systems is looking for a bilingual (English-Spanish) traveling installation and field service technician to join its technical support team based in Loveland, CO. ** Must be fluent in "contractor" Spanish -- will be tested on the spot! (If you do NOT possess the language requirement, please do not apply!)

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING INTERN
Candidates entering their Senior year in August, 2012 are strongly urged to apply. Interviewees must be available to interview
and test onsite in Loveland, CO. Preference is for candidates who will be available for full-time hours following graduation.
Duties for the Mechanical Engineering Internship include (but are not limited to):
Coordinating with Sales & Marketing departments for structural, architectural, and specification drawings
Design of electro-mechanical components including, but not limited to, designing with sheet metal, plastics and fastening systems
Detailed drawings utilizing ANSI standard drafting practices in both Pro Engineer and AutoCAD software packages
Specification of geometric tolerances
Formulation of assembly diagrams and procedures
Processing/Initiating Engineering Change Orders
TRAINING will include the following:
General professional workplace procedures, policies & etiquette
Industry guidelines for sheet metal design
Industry guidelines for structural drawings
Industry guidelines for plastics design
Design for manufacturability/design for assembly
Collaborative development fundamentals for electro-mechanical design
Structured bills of materials methods and practices for electro-mechanical assemblies
SOFTWARE ENGINEERING INTERN
